Job Summary

BNE Real Estate is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting Project Managers and Superintendents in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in coordinating project activities, including preparing and distributing project schedules, ensuring subcontractors have the most up-to-date scopes of work, and obtaining necessary permits.
  • Document Control: Review and become familiar with project documents, including plans and specifications, and identify long lead times and critical path items.
  • Submittal Management: Develop and manage project submittal logs, obtain designer's approval, and ensure all submittals are processed promptly.
  • Contract Management: Ensure contracts, insurance, and bonds are current and received before subcontractors perform any work on site.
  • Communication: Prepare and distribute project meeting agendas, attend weekly project meetings, and keep detailed meeting minutes for publishing to the project team.
  • RFI and Change Order Management: Draft, submit, and track all RFI's and change order requests, and distribute to all team members as appropriate.
  • Quality Control: Review project logs (RFI's, Submittals, PCO's) with the Superintendent on a weekly basis, and pursue and monitor submittals and track deliveries of materials.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Company's safety program procedures and policies, and make tough decisions to ensure safety remains on the front and center.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of construction experience
  • Working knowledge of construction documents, including plans and specifications
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with Procore is recommended
  • Ability to communicate clearly with owners, supervisors, subordinates, outside contractors, vendors, and suppliers
