About the Role

The University of Chicago is seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Assistant Director of Credential Programs in the Student Recruitment and Global Outreach (SRGO) team. This is a highly comprehensive and agile individual contributor role managing all aspects of the credential programs, ranging from business development, external client management, student recruitment, faculty communication, to student experience delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing and Lead Generation: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract prospective students to credential programs.
  • Recruitment and Outreach: Manage a caseload of individual prospective students and conduct recruitment activities such as 1:1 calls, on-campus events, and webinars to meet enrollment goals.
  • Program Implementation: Review applicant materials, recommend admissions decisions, and lead the committee meeting to release decisions in Slate. Manage the program budget, matriculation process, and student experience, including orientation, scheduling, and faculty communication.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with degree-recruitment staff, marketing, operations, data analytics, and other functional experts to design and implement credential programs.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with the University of Chicago or other peer institutions, and/or student-facing experiences.
