Electroforming Technician Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electroforming Technician to join our team at Nesco Resource. As an Electroforming Technician, you will be responsible for performing general electroforming activities, including electro-forming, electroplating, electroless plating, waste water treatment, and process solution control and product quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supply high-quality optical electroforms and electroplated substrates to customers in a timely manner.
• Follow basic plating procedures, including cleaning, passivation, stripping, and fixturing, and inspect product to ensure quality.
• Prepare for E-forming and load OSB and RPB mothers.
• Prevent contaminants from causing defects and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Accurately follow the schedule, inspect, or assist with inspection of tools, enter production or quality data into the computer system, and print out travelers for completed jobs.
• Dispose of metal-bearing rinse waters in an environmentally safe manner.
• Communicate verbally and in writing on equipment status and any process problems.
• Enter all data and maintain records in relation to job function.
• Follow safety protocol in all activities, including proper housekeeping, operation of all equipment in a safe manner, and proper handling and usage of any materials to ensure environmental protection.
• Consistently follow and monitor quality throughout all processes, including process chemistry and procedures, and use various metrology equipment.
• Work closely with department team leader and production schedules to complete tooling and development efforts.

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, Associates Degree Preferred
• Good math and communication skills
• 6+ months of prior manufacturing experience, preferably in Electro-forming, Electroplating, Optics
