Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will follow basic plating procedures, inspect products to ensure quality, and log production and quality data into a computer system. This role emphasizes quality over quantity and requires careful attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Follow basic plating procedures including cleaning, stripping, taping, and fixturing.
  • Handle electroforms with care to avoid contamination.
  • Focus on quality over speed to ensure the job is done correctly.
  • Log production and quality data into a computer system.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Essential Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with electroplating, optical, and plating processes.

Work Environment

The position operates on a Monday-Friday schedule from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for overtime. The electroforming department consists of a close-knit team of 7 people, with plans to add 2 more members.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrietta, Ny.
