Job Overview

Position Summary:

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment process by assisting hiring managers with the initial screening of candidates and facilitating the pre-employment procedures. This role will also involve initiating the onboarding journey for new hires and ensuring the maintenance of employee records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Conduct employee training sessions, including orientation for new hires.
  • Organize and manage various employee engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager and Regional HR Director in employee counseling and corrective actions as necessary.
  • Perform additional HR tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain necessary registrations as required.
  • Familiarity with standard Human Resources principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience with HR/Payroll systems, such as Paylocity, is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to assess and make informed decisions regarding assigned responsibilities.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Capable of handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience is required.
