We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medication Aide to join our team at Kingston Healthcare. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.
- Monitor residents' responses to medications and report any adverse reactions to the healthcare team.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
- Document resident care and medication administration in accordance with company policies.
- Participate in the development and implementation of personalized care plans.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes resident well-being and dignity.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
- Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program.
- Current certification as a Medication Aide - CMA in Santa Fe.
- Previous experience in healthcare, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
