Job Overview

PNC is seeking a highly skilled Fixed Income Trader to join our Asset Management Group Investment Office organization in Philadelphia, PA.

This role will be responsible for executing security trading strategies in coordination with portfolio management teams, managing risk profiles, and making effective recommendations to achieve optimal risk and return positioning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of capital markets, market structure, and regulatory issues, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute security trading strategies in coordination with portfolio management teams
  • Manage risk profiles and make effective recommendations to achieve optimal risk and return positioning
  • Monitor market conditions and manage risk
  • Work with internal partners to develop pitches and provide client relationship support
  • Initiate capital markets research for use by portfolio management and securities analyst teams
Requirements
  • University/college degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, market structure, and regulatory issues
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a disciplined, team-based investment process
