Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at SMS group Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Quality Systems: Assist in developing and standardizing methods for establishing and reporting performance metrics.
  • Ensure Compliance: Oversee ISO compliance and certification for Technical Spares, and develop and oversee OEM NCR processes and IAP programs/systems.
  • Conduct Audits and Assessments: Conduct internal and external supplier audits, and lead supplier development improvements with purchasing.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Train in-plant Quality personnel as required, and assist in reviewing work instructions, routers, drawings, and inspection documents.
  • Participate in Registration and Surveillance Audits: Participate in registration/surveillance audits as required, and ensure corrective actions are properly generated and effectively closed.
  • Maintain Document and Records Controls: Ensure document and records controls are maintained, and perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in industrial setting with Quality responsibilities.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong QA/QC credentials with professional accreditations, ISO Lead Auditor experience, and strong organizational, communication, statistical, and computer skills.
  • Computer Skills: SAP, GSS, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing Software.
