Desktop Support Analyst

Full Time

The Desktop Support Analyst is essential in providing direct assistance to all personnel, ensuring prompt and effective troubleshooting of desktop hardware, software, and mobile devices while maintaining a high level of customer service and technical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute software installations, upgrades, and various project tasks.
  • Configure and assist with desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers.
  • Oversee the Helpdesk system for incoming issues.
  • Address urgent needs such as video conferencing setups, equipment loans, software licensing, and VIP assistance.
  • Deliver remote support to offsite personnel.
  • Document all issues in the Helpdesk system.
  • Assess issues swiftly and professionally, taking necessary steps for resolution.
  • Refer unresolved issues to appropriate team members when necessary.
  • Investigate faults related to desktop applications and configurations, identifying and implementing suitable solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, a solid understanding of Microsoft Office products, and a desire to work within an IT environment. The candidate must be adept at managing multiple tasks effectively. Experience with both Windows and Mac support is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in customer support, help desk, or application support roles is preferred. This experience should include the development and adherence to IT procedures and/or work instructions.

Education and Relevant Experience:

A BS/BA degree in an information technology-related field or equivalent experience in a related area.
