Are you enthusiastic about the aviation industry and possess expertise in aircraft upholstery and structure maintenance? We are looking for skilled professionals to become part of our team as Aircraft Upholstery Specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute high-quality sewing and upholstery tasks while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Disassemble and reassemble various models of passenger seating.
  • Conduct maintenance including the application of adhesives, bonding, and installation of hardware and rivets.
  • Style a diverse range of foams to meet specific requirements.
  • Layout, match, cut, and sew various routine and unique sewing tasks, including intricate fabrics to ensure aesthetic symmetry.
  • Create patterns based on prints, sketches, models, and verbal instructions.
  • Inspect and select appropriate fabrics, leathers, foams, and other materials for job assignments.
  • Fabricate and upholster all soft goods, including aircraft seating, divans, service ledges, side walls, headliners, and window panels.
  • Set up and operate essential equipment such as routers, sanders, and sewing machines.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in aircraft upholstery.
  • Ability to set up and operate standard upholstery equipment.
  • Proficient in interpreting documentation such as 3D models, blueprints, and drawings.
  • Must not have allergies to chemicals, solvents, paints, adhesives, or various materials.
  • Ability to distinguish colors and align intricate designs in fabrics.
  • Capable of lifting and transporting up to 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Strong visual capacity and dexterity to work on detailed, high-value products with minimal rework.
