Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Bennington County. As a Registered Nurse, you will work with pregnant individuals and new parents to support them through the transition to parenthood. You will provide nursing assessments, life-skill education, and child-care education to promote healthy decision-making and effective parenting.
Responsibilities- Assist individuals and families in identifying goals and actions to meet their desired outcomes
- Develop and maintain community partnerships to support client referrals and a strong system of care
- Seek input from team members and other community providers to determine priority health care needs
- Provide nursing assessments, life-skill education, and child-care education to promote healthy decision-making and effective parenting
- Create a safe environment for open discussion with families
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred
- Experience in community maternal child and family health, and public health nursing preferred
- Valid Vermont Driver's License and car insurance
