About the Role

ThinkBAC Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Development Associate - Renewables to join our team. This role focuses on identifying, researching, and prospecting land opportunities for utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of renewable energy project development, real estate transactions, and contract negotiation. Experience with RFP/RFI processes and project siting, permitting, and due diligence initiatives is also necessary.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Identify and develop land opportunities for utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects.
  • Work on site acquisition, financing, and development of utility-scale energy storage and renewable energy projects.
  • Negotiate site control agreements with landowners.
  • Support development activities for new and ongoing projects.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with real estate transactions and contracts.
  • Solid understanding of RFP/RFI process and project siting, permitting, and due diligence initiatives.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $100,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and compensation packages.
