Your future team:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electrical Maintenance Lead will oversee and coordinate both corrective and preventative electrical maintenance tasks by evaluating work requests, analyzing job specifications, and determining the necessary materials, equipment, and workforce. This role is essential in providing electrical maintenance services for all equipment while adhering to budgetary constraints, pursuing enhancements within the plant, and optimizing cost efficiency.

The Electrical Maintenance Lead will inspire and guide a team of Shift Electricians and PM Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians, which encompasses scheduling, payroll management, training, development, and ensuring safety for all personnel in the electrical division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage an efficient electrical maintenance program that ensures consistent equipment availability and minimizes production disruptions.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and the maintenance department to ascertain equipment time, parts, and tools required for scheduled work orders and outages.
  • Implement a robust preventative maintenance program that includes daily follow-ups on PM tasks and ensures new tasks are recorded and scheduled in the PM system.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members within the area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training for new initiatives within the electrical division.
  • Accountable for all financial aspects within the electrical maintenance area.
  • Regularly report on equipment and machinery performance to the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, technical or trade school certification, or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting with automated electrical systems.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing context.
  • Strong knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)/Automation, particularly with Siemens and Endress+Hauser instrumentation.
  • Act as a representative of ROCKWOOL, embodying our core values of Ambition, Integrity, Responsibility, and Efficiency.
  • Deep understanding of LEAN methodologies and tools.
