Your Role as a Nursing Operations Manager: You will deliver compassionate and high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment in a safe and welcoming environment. Additionally, you will provide support and guidance to nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding nursing services.
- Occasionally work on the floor and oversee medication administration.
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations.
- Exhibit flexibility, compassion, and reliability.
- Maintain knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines.
- Supervise nursing support personnel.
- Evaluate staff performance and ensure compliance with quality care standards.
- Ensure adequate staffing for all shifts.
- Assist with daily operations within the nursing department and conduct patient rounds.
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, management, and families.
- Collaborate with the Director to address departmental challenges and implement corrective actions.
- Identify and resolve quality assurance issues.
- Train new nursing staff members.
- Assist in care planning and assessments.
- Participate in care conferences.
- Be part of an on-call rotation with the Director of Care.
About You: You possess excellent customer service skills and demonstrate flexibility, compassion, and dependability. While experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is advantageous, all qualified nurses are encouraged to apply.
Additional Qualifications:
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Valid Ohio Nursing License.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication with colleagues, residents, families, and partners.
- Ability to address inquiries or concerns from various sources.
- Basic math skills.
- Capacity to make informed decisions requiring sound judgment.
- Your decisions will impact the overall operations of the facility.
