Clinical Program Coordinator

The Clinical Program Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of our clinical programs at UVA Health System. This position is responsible for overseeing the performance, compliance, and reporting of clinical programs, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Resource: Serve as a clinical resource for clinical teams and leaders, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Quality Monitoring and Reporting: Participate in and ensure accurate collection of data related to clinical programs, analyzing trends to identify areas for improvement and ensuring program goal achievement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Manage all appropriate elements of regulatory or program requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI): Lead and manage a systemic and coordinated approach to quality measurement and improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean methods and QAPI tools to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program, Master's degree in a related field within 4 years of hire.
  • Experience: Three years of progressive experience and relevant clinical nursing experience required.
  • Licensure: Must be a registered nurse and currently licensed to practice in the State of Virginia.
