Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our Men's Basketball team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and organizing the day-to-day operations of the program, assisting the Head Coach in all phases of daily operations, and promoting a Division I intercollegiate men's basketball program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and organize team travel, scheduling, and logistics
  • Assist the Head Coach in daily operations, including game day preparation and post-game activities
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective program management
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with NCAA, Ivy League, and University rules and regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service to student-athletes, parents, alumni, and colleagues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and other stakeholders
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including travel itineraries, expense reports, and game day statistics
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletics Director
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-2 years of related experience in basketball operations, coaching, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of NCAA, Ivy League, and University rules and regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
