Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Live Urgent Care. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, preparing patients, and operating imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as per physician orders
- Prepare patients by verifying health information and the reason for imaging
- Properly position patients to obtain optimal images and adjust equipment as needed
- Adhere to established protocols and safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring functionality and cleanliness
- Update patient records with imaging details and results promptly
- Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, address concerns, and maintain confidentiality
- Collaborate with providers to discuss imaging results
- Be willing to cross-train in medical receptionist and/or medical assistant duties to support high patient volume times
- Support your colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment

Requirements:
- Associate's degree or higher
- Valid certification in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
- Current State licensure as an X-Ray Technologist or Limited X-Ray Tech
- New graduates are welcome to apply

- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficiency in multitasking, prioritizing, and time management

Physical Demands:
