Central Processing Corporation is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our customer's shop in Janesville, WI. As a Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for leading a team of mechanics and ensuring the efficient repair and maintenance of gas- and diesel-powered vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision: Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of shop employees, conduct performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Task Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate tasks and activities of the company fleet auto repair shop, working on gas- and diesel-powered vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Prepare maintenance schedules for motor vehicles and heavy equipment, and notify drivers and operators when maintenance is to be performed.
- Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures.
- Work near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards.
- Work in a noisy environment.
