Helio Health is a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services, and we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Elements Residential Program.

Job Summary:

The LPN will work in a variety of clinical settings, providing medical and counseling services as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. The successful candidate will have experience in substance abuse treatment and be able to work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical and counseling services to clients in a variety of clinical settings
  • Monitor and document clients' medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal, and report to supervisor or medical director
  • Work with other medical staff for continuity of clients' medical care
  • Communicate with clinical staff regarding clients' medical concerns
  • Provide direct client care, including medical assessment, implementation of medical orders, and communicable and infectious disease reporting
  • Provide public health and screening protocols
  • Document medical consultation, assessment, examination, and treatment planning and review
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York
  • Experience in substance abuse treatment preferred
  • Basic computer skills required
