Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team at Sterling Ridge Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting independence and self-care.
  • Provide vital signs, simple treatments, and other care as needed, adhering to community policies and procedures.
  • Encourage and direct residents in self-care or bowel and bladder programs, as indicated.
  • Transport residents to activities, meals, and other areas within the community.
  • Assist with serving meals and dining room duties, as instructed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, family members, and staff.
  • Report any changes in resident physical or mental status to the Resident Care Director or acting supervisor.
  • Follow community policies and procedures, including safety and disaster protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months to one year of related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
