About the Role

Our Lead Teachers support the General Manager and Department of Education by providing programming expertise, onboarding help, and continued coaching for the teaching roster of Yogasix Southport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on submitted sequences
  • Auditioning teachers for format sign offs
  • Managing shift schedules for all teachers
  • Providing coaching and guidance to teachers exploring new formats
  • Leading format trainings
  • Assisting the General Manager with sales initiatives and content creation
Requirements:
  • 500hr Yoga Alliance Certification (or, at minimum, E-RYT 200)
  • Minimum 3 years of teaching experience
  • Ability to create connection and communicate effectively
  • Knowledge of yoga techniques and material
  • Objectivity in judgment and ability to be a gatekeeper of the space
  • Willingness to grow and remain a student forever
  • Permission to not know and be a beginner
  • A sense of humor and ability to drop grandiose expectations
  • Prior experience with Yogasix Studio is preferred
