We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse III to join our Medical/Surgical Hospitalist team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Implement physician orders and administer medications, treatments, and procedures as required by company policy and local/state/federal regulations.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in the state of New York.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Clinical Nurse in a Medical/Surgical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
