Job Overview

Objective:

The primary aim of this role is to execute maintenance tasks for the facilities, tools, and machinery utilized by Mobis North America LLC. Maintenance Technicians are tasked with ensuring that all machinery and equipment operate efficiently, which includes performing regular preventive maintenance and installing new or replacement machinery as required to enhance productivity and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts repairs on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Implements scheduled preventive maintenance routines.
  • Oversees repairs to building structures, including storage facilities, water towers, and outdoor lighting systems.
  • Installs and sets up new machinery and equipment, such as office lighting, boiler systems, air compressors, and testing apparatus.
  • Contributes to the development of new machinery, including assembly lines, specialized fixtures, and production support tools.
  • Completes special projects as assigned by management.
  • May be required to work at elevated heights as part of job duties.
  • Performs additional tasks as directed by management.

Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a 2-year associate's degree is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or automotive setting.
  • Must possess qualifications and experience as a maintenance professional with strong skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities are essential.
  • A valid Journeyman certification is required.
  • Physical capability to perform demanding tasks is necessary.
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Fanuc systems is preferred.
