Project Manager - Civil Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager - Civil Engineering to join our team at Snelling Staffing of Northern Colorado. As a Project Manager - Civil Engineering, you will be responsible for leading projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project design tasks, including data collection, report dissemination, plan and specification production, quality control, bidding, and construction administration.
  • Draft technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project controls, including cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Ensure all meeting minutes and job documentation are produced and distributed.
  • Manage relationships with clients and trade partners.
  • Oversee construction inspection efforts and ensure proper job documentation.
  • Manage contract administration, including development, review, and approval of pay applications, change orders, field orders, and change directives.
  • Develop and manage project risk registers and perform internal and external job cost analysis on project budgets.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • PE in the State of Colorado.
  • 8+ years of engineering and construction experience, including utilities, roadway, water, wastewater, and/or site development.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration, claims avoidance, risk management, and schedule control.
