The Hospital Support Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff at UNC Health. This position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The primary responsibilities of this role include cleaning and disinfecting all areas of the hospital, entering data into the bed tracking system, and inspecting ancillary and patient areas. The Hospital Support Specialist may also serve as a team leader, planning and scheduling tasks, making work assignments, training staff, controlling bed tracking, and inspecting all areas throughout the hospital.
