We are seeking a skilled Insurance Agent to join our team at Western Community Insurance @ Farm Bureau Mutual. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for building lasting relationships within your local community, tailoring risk management strategies to meet each customer's individual needs, and ensuring accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping and sales reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to connect with potential clients and maintain a portfolio of current clients
  • Analyze complex insurance programs and present options to customers based on their specific needs and priorities
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to rules and policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients
  • Utilize excellent communication skills to explain complex insurance concepts to customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive insurance sales and achieve business goals
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory
  • Must have or be willing to obtain an insurance license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience working in customer service or sales is beneficial
