TJM Industries Inc is in search of experienced Human Resources Professionals and Managers to oversee operations in manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities for Managers:
- Direct the HR functions across multiple plants (including a facility with 600 employees and others with 150 and 125 employees).
- Primary focus on maintaining adequate staffing levels with both hourly and professional talent.
- Foster strong Employee Relations within the workforce and among leadership.
- Collaborate with leaders at all levels to enhance employee productivity, safety, quality, delivery, and morale.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all Federal and State labor laws and regulations.
- Establish training programs and processes aimed at improving employee retention and engagement.
- Administer employee benefits and negotiate with brokers as needed.
- Monitor HR metrics and provide regular reports to the leadership team.
- Support Safety/OSHA compliance and manage Workers' Compensation.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Human Resources or Business.
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience and 3-4 years of generalist experience is desired.
- HR certifications such as PHR/SPHR are preferred.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach are essential; candidates should be comfortable engaging directly with employees on the shop floor.
Compensation: Managerial positions offer salaries ranging from $80,000 to $95,000 based on plant size.
HR Generalist Positions: We currently have several openings in various locations.
Key Duties of HR Generalists:
- Manage HRIS systems for the organization.
- Conduct extensive recruitment efforts.
- Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires.
- Coordinate performance management initiatives.
- Track attendance and manage payroll and benefits administration.
- Deliver training sessions as required.
Desired Experience and Education:
- A minimum of a 2-year degree is preferred; a 4-year degree is ideal.
- 2-4 years of generalist experience is required.
- Compensation for these roles ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 based on location and experience.
