Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shuttle Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at our airport location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall operational success of our parking program during afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Shuttle Assistant General Manager and General Manager with operational, financial, and personnel management.
  • Manage hourly staff, including Shuttle Supervisors, Dispatchers, Shuttle Drivers, and Shuttle Utility.
  • Encourage and motivate the workforce, instill teamwork, coach, and implement corrective action to enforce policies and procedures.
  • Promote "The LAZ Way" (Motto's, Values & Practices).
  • Assist in establishing individualized goals for employees and monitor progress.
  • Create and monitor daily schedules, write work assignments, and provide spot audits to ensure quality standards.
  • Review and approve time off requests, adjusting the schedule as needed.
  • Communicate with the AGM and GM on operational and personnel challenges.
  • Participate in hiring, training, evaluating, and developing all shuttle employees.
  • Process daily reports, including passenger counts and headways.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and oversee monthly facility and vehicle safety inspections.
  • Manage fleet maintenance and cleaning schedule, and report issues to the GM and AGM.
  • Perform routine inventory and inspection of operating supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A or B license with air brake and passenger endorsements.
  • Three years' experience in a commercial transportation or paratransit operation.
  • Two years' management experience (Parking or transportation industry preferred).
  • Pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Clean DMV MVR.
  • Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of ADA rules and regulations.
Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

MUST have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

MUST have prior experience in managing staff of 20+ employees.

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Familiarity with telematics systems, including camera and GPS devices.
