About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Panelized Framer Crew Leader to join our team at Drexel Building Supply. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for leading a team of framers and carpenters on various projects in and around the Madison area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of framers and carpenters on residential and commercial projects
  • Set up and operate scaffolding and climbing equipment for assembling structures above ground levels
  • Measure and mark cut lines on materials using a tape measure, ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
  • Shaping or cutting materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, and/or power saws
  • Read and understand building plans
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment, including job sites, company vehicles, and job trailers
  • Crane signaling and other safety protocols
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One to three years of framing experience
  • Ability to use power tools, tape measure, read and understand work instructions, materials, and communicate with customers, co-workers, and contractors
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
