Job Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with field leadership and subcontractors to understand daily construction activities and assignments, ensuring the concrete crew executes construction goals effectively.
  2. Lead and direct onsite concrete crews, providing training and mentorship to enhance their skills.
  3. Perform concrete layout activities, establishing elevations from given benchmarks to ensure accurate top-of-wall, top-of-column, top-of-slab, and top-of-shoring measurements.
  4. Motivate workers to achieve desirable production rates, promoting a culture of excellence.
  5. Review and interpret blueprints/shop drawings and project documents with the project team to develop a comprehensive approach and execute installations efficiently.
  6. Set the standard for quality of work, ensuring it meets company expectations.
  7. Communicate and monitor work performed to guarantee proper assembly and installation.
  8. Utilize effective communication with the crew, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  9. Provide feedback for field employee reviews, promoting growth and development.
  10. Enforce company policies and procedures, upholding safety standards.
  11. Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a Concrete Foreman or Superintendent role.
  2. Commercial construction experience.
  3. Proven ability to review and interpret blueprints/shop drawings.
  4. Strong attendance record, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
  5. Ability to perform under strict deadlines, maintaining a high level of productivity.
  6. Effective communication skills with field leaders and crew members.
  7. Understanding of project timelines and deadlines.
  8. Ability to multitask and stay organized.
  9. Capacity to take direction and delegate tasks.
  10. Prioritize multiple tasks to meet given deadlines.
