Key Responsibilities

As a Public Areas Attendant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Regularly traversing the property, including common areas and guest cabins.
  • Utilizing cleaning equipment to effectively wipe, scrub, mop, and polish surfaces.
  • Occasionally navigating stairways and ladders to access and clean various levels and hard-to-reach spots.
  • Positioning yourself to clean beneath furniture, lower cabinets, and flooring.
  • Identifying and addressing dirt and grime in guest areas.
  • Maintaining open communication with other departments regarding any changes or needs.
  • Transporting equipment, supplies, and furniture weighing up to 50 pounds across short distances.
  • Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Essential Duties
  • Fostering a positive and energetic environment that enhances the guest experience while adhering to the highest standards of TCR and Relais & Châteaux.
  • Upholding the exceptional five-star image and appearance of TCR, including service and cleanliness standards.
  • Consistently arriving on time for all duties and completing assignments promptly.
  • Conducting daily and nightly checks and cleaning of public areas.
  • Preparing guest cabins to TCR standards for arrivals.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in common areas.
  • Performing laundry duties as needed.
  • Managing inventory and stocking housekeeping supplies.
  • Engaging with guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Reporting any damages, repairs, or safety concerns to management.
  • Keeping the Housekeeping Manager informed of inventory needs and maintenance issues.
  • Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Working a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Collaborating with other employees and departments to communicate special requests and operational changes.
  • Adhering to company policies, safety standards, and applicable laws.
Additional Duties
  • Maintaining outdoor areas through raking in spring and fall.
  • Shoveling snow during winter months.
Classification

This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
