We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel in our manufacturing facility at Dana Incorporated. The primary focus of this role is to ensure a safe working environment and minimize downtime by working closely with production teams. Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff to repair and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Analyze downtime to identify areas for improvement and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with the Area Manager to prioritize tasks based on production requirements, ensuring seamless integration with production schedules.
- Provide guidance and support to maintenance staff in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Attend daily meetings to report on key performance indicators, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Manage payroll activities for direct reports, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Ensure the maintenance area is clean, organized, and well-maintained, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- Maintain accurate records related to maintenance activities and materials, providing valuable insights for future planning and decision-making.
- Evaluate the skills of team members and provide training and development opportunities as needed, promoting career growth and advancement.
- Participate in problem-solving teams and assist with budget preparation, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or industrial management, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of success in maintenance management.
