As a Tire Service Technician, your primary responsibility will be to handle all aspects of tire services and repairs for Retail and Commercial Tires, including Medium Trucks.

This role requires you to operate a service vehicle to assist customers experiencing tire issues, performing necessary repairs or replacements as needed.

Job duties may take place at various locations, including customer sites and during roadside assistance calls.

Expect to work in diverse indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to varying temperatures.

Consistent safety and attendance performance is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mounting and dismounting tires on retail vehicles, medium trucks, and trailers, including the use of safety equipment for enhanced protection.
• Balancing tires to ensure optimal weight distribution, with knowledge of additional balancing methods such as balance beads and rings.
• Identifying and repairing punctures or other damages to tires and tubes.
• Patching or plugging tires as necessary.
• Evaluating vehicles and trailers, lifting them using appropriate equipment in line with safety protocols.
• Rotating tires regularly to promote even tread wear, including patterns for medium trucks and trailers.

• Operating a Standard Commercial Service Truck (No Boom)

• Carrying out all tasks from a mobile service truck.
• Responding to service calls dispatched to customer locations, which may include highways, parking lots, or job sites.
• Utilizing mobile equipment that may differ from store equipment.
• Ensuring the mobile unit is well-maintained and stocked with essential tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Effectively managing time to respond promptly to service calls and complete on-site services.
• Maintaining communication with a service coordinator throughout service calls and documenting them according to customer needs.
Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record required.
• Experience in retail or commercial tire or automotive service is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using computers/POS systems is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team members, fostering long-term relationships based on trust and integrity.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Professional demeanor and attire in accordance with company policy.
