Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join our team at Lifeguard Ambulance Service. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation to medical facilities. Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient situations and determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures to provide high-quality patient care, including defibrillator, ECG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
  • Act as a team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance safely and efficiently on 911 responses.
  • Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • State Paramedic License.
  • State Driver's License.
  • BLS, ACLS.
  • Driving record in compliance with company policy.
  • Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT).
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare, is preferred.
