El Especialista en Recepción es responsable de todas las funciones departamentales alineadas con la misión, visión y objetivos de PM Pediatrics. Este rol brinda la oportunidad de aplicar habilidades en un entorno de atención pediátrica urgente y asistir en la atención primaria de los pacientes según las necesidades individuales de cada uno, bajo la supervisión directa del médico. Esta posición mantiene relaciones laborales efectivas con todos los clientes, incluidos pacientes/familias, médicos, empleados, voluntarios y proveedores.
Descripción
Responsabilidades del Trabajo:
- Proporcionar apoyo clínico a proveedores, pacientes y operaciones de oficina.
- Recibir a los pacientes de manera cálida a su llegada.
- Obtener y documentar electrónicamente la información demográfica, de seguro y de pago de los pacientes con precisión.
- Atender llamadas telefónicas y dirigirlas a la parte correspondiente.
- Asistir a padres e hijos en el área de recepción.
- Verificar la elegibilidad y la información del seguro.
- Recoger información de tarjeta de crédito y copagos.
- Enviar por fax, archivar y escanear la documentación necesaria.
- Mantener el orden y la limpieza de la sala de espera.
- Reabastecer las salas de examen y la recepción frontal con suministros adecuados.
- Ayudar a los pacientes en situaciones de emergencia notificando de inmediato al personal médico.
- Mantener las operaciones siguiendo políticas y procedimientos; reportar cambios necesarios al equipo de gestión.
- Garantizar un entorno de trabajo seguro, seguro y saludable siguiendo y haciendo cumplir los estándares y procedimientos.
- Proteger la confianza del paciente y las operaciones manteniendo la información de atención al paciente confidencial, cumpliendo con las regulaciones de HIPAA.
- Mejorar la reputación de la práctica de salud aceptando la responsabilidad de cumplir con nuevas y desafiantes solicitudes; explorando oportunidades para agregar valor a los logros laborales.
- Asistir a los pacientes con quejas y participar activamente en la recuperación del servicio cuando sea necesario.
- Realizar otras tareas administrativas y de apoyo clínico según sea necesario.
- Experiencia previa como recepcionista en un entorno de atención médica.
- Un comportamiento profesional y amigable.
- Fuertes habilidades de comunicación y organización.
- Capacidad para realizar múltiples tareas en un entorno de ritmo rápido.
- Excelentes habilidades de servicio al cliente.
- Conocimiento de Microsoft Office Suites.
- Conocimiento de registros de salud electrónicos (preferiblemente eCW).
