Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for administering respiratory therapy procedures to diagnose and treat patients with respiratory and pulmonary disorders. This role requires a strong understanding of respiratory care principles and the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory therapy procedures, including oxygen therapy, respiratory medication, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Evaluate patient condition and consult with physicians to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Document all patient care activities and ensure compliance with quality of care standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed by the State Board of Medicine or State Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
  • Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Associate's degree required.
  • Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Prior experience in respiratory care.
