Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and manage systemic inflammatory rheumatic diseases, degenerative diseases, and soft tissue disorders
- Educate patients and families on their rheumatic disease and discuss treatment plans
- Communicate with referring physicians, primary care physicians, and other specialists
- Recognize non-rheumatic disease issues that require referral to other specialists
- Stay up-to-date with FDA-approved therapies for rheumatic diseases
- Review diagnostic images and lab results in a timely manner
- Document patient information thoroughly in the EHR
- Complete charting and billing by the end of each day
- Provide teaching and education to nurse practitioners and medical assistants
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Rheumatology
- Active California license
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and empathy skills
- Interest in growing a private practice and referral base
- Experience in Rheumatology
- Effective EHR skills
- Ability to work well with our CCRD team
