Job Summary
Providence College is seeking qualified candidates for adjunct faculty positions in the Department of Biology. The successful candidates will teach upper-level courses in cellular and molecular genetics, microbiology with lab, developmental biology with lab, and non-majors human biology.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach upper-level courses in the department of biology
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to foster an inclusive and collaborative atmosphere among students and faculty
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Biology or a related field
- Strong commitment to undergraduate education
- Ability to teach multiple courses
- Experience with collaborative research experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong background in molecular and cellular biology and genomics
- Experience with teaching upper-level courses
