Job Summary

This position is an exciting opportunity to join the Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration team as a General Radiologist and Musculoskeletal Radiology expert. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for interpreting imaging exams, performing musculoskeletal radiology procedures, and participating in quality management activities.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret general radiology examinations, including plain film, CT, MRI, and ultrasound
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic fluoroscopic studies
  • Participate in the development of new protocols and imaging techniques
  • Communicate critical findings and generate timely radiology reports
  • Obtain informed consent and physically examine veterans when required
  • Participate in quality management activities, including film quality review and peer review
Requirements
  • United States citizenship
  • Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • Full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States
  • Residency training in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
