Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at SOVAH Danville. As a critical care nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, quality, and compassionate care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with respiratory failure, shock, and multi-organ failure.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with our intensivist and resident physicians to provide evidence-based care and make informed decisions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of unit policies and procedures.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • A current VA (or Multi-state) RN license.
  • A nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
  • Experience in clinical area preferred.
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
