Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a RN in our ICU, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing your expertise and critical thinking skills to make informed decisions and develop effective care plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and utilize advanced life support skills as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing or a Compact State.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within one year of employment.
  • Previous experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
