Job Title Overview

The position of a Part-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist is available in Salmon, ID.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs, ensuring accurate information for goal setting.
  • Oversee and guide paraprofessionals in their roles, fostering a collaborative educational environment.
  • Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), tailoring support to each student's unique requirements.
  • Provide therapy sessions or observe and gather crucial information for effective goal setting.
  • Attend meetings as necessary, with prior parent approval allowing flexibility.
Caseload Management
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 20 speech-only IEPs, prioritizing individualized support.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is mandatory.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not essential, as we seek dedicated professionals willing to adapt to our educational community.
