Job Summary:
The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of the store team, responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the overall operation of a seasonal store. This includes staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up, and teardown of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in staffing, including scheduling and training staff
- Assist with setup and merchandising of the store, including visual displays and inventory management
- Help with pack-up and teardown of the store at the end of the season
- Assist with controlling expenses, shrinkage, and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and profitability
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive guest experience
Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement is 18
- Flexible schedule required
- Prior retail management experience required
- Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
