Occupational Therapy Assistant PRN

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Assist with the coordination of patient-centered and occupational-based goals to ensure diagnostic and therapeutic services and rehabilitation that are provided to our patients.
- Accurately follow established treatment plans to set measurable and achievable goals to reach maximum functional independence for Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL's).
- Record, monitor, and review clinical data, providing feedback to Occupational Therapist regarding possible modifications to treatment plans and goals based upon patient performance.
- Adapt recognized therapeutic techniques and modalities to meet the needs of the patient, within scope of practice and under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
- Participate in rounding and proactively respond to patient needs to improve patient outcomes and positively affect overall patient experience.
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Experience in an appropriate healthcare setting preferred.
- Current Florida COTA (Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant) License.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions.
- PC skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
