We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the Durham Outpatient Center Family Medicine Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality care to patients under the direction of licensed practitioners
- Assist physicians and support staff with clinical and administrative tasks
- Promote efficient operation of the clinic and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- High school education or equivalent required
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program required
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and basic life support certification
- Preferred qualifications include experience in a physician's office, medical assistant certification, and bilingual skills
