Water Resources Engineer Opportunity

RS&H is seeking a highly motivated Water Resources Engineer to join our Transportation Practice in our Baltimore area office.

As a Water Resources Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing stormwater management systems, conducting hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and obtaining environmental permits in accordance with MDOT, water management district, and local municipality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement stormwater management systems
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
  • Obtain environmental permits
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver transportation infrastructure projects
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university
  • Maryland Professional Engineering (PE) registration or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in transportation and infrastructure projects
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bentley platforms (OpenRoads, Microstation, and Geopak)
  • Experience with diverse projects using Design-Build and Alternative Project Delivery methods
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Business acumen and facilitation skills
