Opportunity Overview

RS&H is seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our Transportation Practice in our Baltimore area office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage storm water management systems, drainage systems, and hydrologic and hydraulic models
  • Develop and implement environmental permitting strategies in accordance with MDOT, water management district, and local municipality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver transportation infrastructure projects
  • Provide technical expertise in hydraulics, hydrology, and stormwater management
  • Prepare and review plans, reports, and other technical documents
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university
  • Maryland Professional Engineering (PE) registration or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in transportation and infrastructure projects
  • Expertise in hydraulics, hydrology, storm drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, and NPDES program
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bentley platforms, and H/H software
  • Strong knowledge of Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) policies and procedures
