Job Title: Lactation Consultant

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Lactation Consultant to join our healthcare team at St. Luke's Health System.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting new mothers and families in their breastfeeding journey, providing expert lactation advice, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert lactation advice and support to new mothers and families
  • Deliver exceptional patient care and promote breastfeeding as the optimal choice for infant feeding
  • Work closely with mothers, infants, and healthcare professionals to ensure a positive breastfeeding experience and successful outcomes
  • Develop and implement lactation education programs for healthcare professionals and new mothers
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
  • Experience: 2 year's clinical experience
  • Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current RN License from the State of Practice
  • International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBLCE) -Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
