St. Luke's Health System is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lactation Consultant to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to provide expert lactation advice and support to new mothers and families in their breastfeeding journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized lactation consultations and education to mothers and families
  • Assess and troubleshoot breastfeeding issues and provide solutions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a positive breastfeeding experience and successful outcomes
  • Develop and implement lactation education programs for healthcare providers and the community
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in lactation and breastfeeding
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • 2 years of clinical experience in lactation or a related field
  • Current RN license from the State of Practice
  • International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBLCE) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
