Job Summary

YesCare Corp is seeking a highly skilled Forensic Psychiatric Technician to join our team in the Forensic Unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing mental health care and support to individuals involved in the criminal justice system who require restoration of their competency to stand trial.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed to manage challenging behaviors and ensure the safety of patients and staff
Assist in the delivery of interventions, including individual contacts, psychoeducational programming, and group sessions
Provide recreational activities to individual patients or groups as assigned
Complete daily documentation of services provided and number of patients participating

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
Experience in providing services to a mentally ill and/or correctional population preferred
Must follow all applicable technical instructions and health services bulletins
Background check, security clearance, and drug screening required
